There's also the possibility that the number hasn't gone down because while you have lost fat you've gained muscle from working out. I'd definitely take some measurements and see how those change over the weeks! I am trying to lose weight now too and am starting to get involved with the Tumblr "fitblr" community and I think you might like it too -- they are very motivational, inspirational and the community itself is a treasure trove of useful information. :)
