I hate Mrs. McCall/Sheriff fics -- for so many reasons but automatically I will back out of it. And Sheriff/Chris fics; I don't mind them as friends (there was this AMAZING chris/sheriff friends fic ... something like Men of a Certain Age ... but generally I just can't do it).
But the Mrs. McCall/Sheriff ones are my biggest NO.
And Sheriff and Stiles's relationship is my safe place. It's so real. NOTHING can happen to the sheriff. LOL. I will spend a week in denial and sheriff fic, LOL.
