I can see what you mean. I like her mostly because of the actress and she's kind of an unorthodox mom. But she is really underwritten. She could stand to be nicer to Stiles, and I didn't love her instant reaction when she found out Scott was a werewolf.

Though I would hope that eventually the sheriff does move on and find someone else, since his wife is dead, and she'd probably want him to move on.
