Day 04 - Your favorite show ever

Friends. I ADORED this show, and still adore it. It is one of those rare shows that I can still watch today and laugh as hard now as I did when I first saw the episode. The show is so intensely quotable. I know so many of the episodes, practically by heart. It had such an amazingly talented cast, and I love their friendships off-screen as well and how they stuck together. I have the entire series on DVD and hope to have it on blu-ray sometime soon.

Procrastinate much

Scientists really need to get cracking on a cure for procrastination.

Making another beta request. I haven't talked to my usual beta in awhile and I've spent so much time trying to work on my story that I neglected to find another beta, and now it's a week before my posting date for merlinreversebb story is due and I need help.

I have over 8,000 words done so far and I don't need so much help with spelling, though if my beta could catch any errant typos that would be great. I mostly need help with grammar, continuity, and pacing issues.

I can't offer any cash incentives, or naked Colin or Bradley, but my eternal gratitude. :)

Day 05 - A show you hate


I don't really have any shows that I super hate right now. I guess I'll go with a tie between How I Met Your Mother and Grey's Anatomy. I used to love both shows, own some seasons on DVD, but they both disappointed me greatly and I dropped them. George and Izzie were my favorites on Grey's and once they broke up and treated TR Knight and George so horribly the next season, and killed him off, I was done. I'll occassionally check in on their ratings grab episodes and sometimes read recaps of the show but haven't watched a full season since season 3. I stuck it out with HIMYM for a long time, but the combination of taking the title too literally and waiting to long to introduce the mother and the suckiness of Barney/Robin, drove me away. I have had no desire to check in on the show this season. Even knwing next year will now be the last season won't be enough to get me to watch. I'll just watch the last episode when they finally introduce the mother.
