Day 20 - Favorite kiss

Definitely Jack/Ianto's kiss in Torchwood's "To the Last Man." It's actually kind of what got me into the show. I'd been watching some YouTube vids with gay couples in it. I'd seen Jack/Ianto a couple of times. I thought Jack/John Barrowman was so HOT and kind of thought the other guy was a little eh (which makes me laugh because not only did I come to adore and become majorly obsessed with Gareth-David Lloyd/Ianto, but I had the same reaction when I first saw Merlin. Bradley James took my breath away and I thought Colin Morgan was just alright. Now I still think Bradley is the hottest thing to ever hot, but Merlin became my favorite and I drool over Colin.) Anyway, I saw the kiss from TTLM in a YT vid and going gaga over it. I watched it multiple times. I then sought out some specific Jack/Ianto and Torchwood vids. After a month or two, I got Torchwood on Netflix.

Day 21 - Favorite ship

Will forever and always be Merlin/Arthur. I don't think I'll ever love a couple like them. The chemistry, the banter, the eye fucking, the friendship, the hotness, the deep and everlasting connection, the hotness, the chemistry (I've mentioned chemistry and hotness already but those two really can't be overstated.) They were the total package.

Day 22 - Favorite series finale

It would have probably been Merlin if it weren't for those last five minutes. So I will choose Friends. It's the only recent series finale that I can think of that I truly enjoyed and that everythign I wanted to happen, happened. No one died and my favorite couple reunited beautifully.

I first started watching Merlin because...: An online friend kept talking about the show and especially Merlin/Arthur. I wasn't sure I wanted to get into another pairing, but I kind of figured I'd give it a shot. I didn't really think I'd become obessed with it. I started reading fanfic first and when I finally wanted to have faces and voices to go woth what I was reading I checked out some Merlin stuff on YouTube.

Favorite season of Merlin: It's probably a tie between the first and fourth season.
Merlin OTP: Merlin/Arthur, without a doubt
Merlin second favorite ship: Lancelot/Merlin
Favorite knight: Lancelot
Favorite female character: First season Gwen.
If I were a character on Merlin, I would be... First season Gwen. I have a crush on Merlin and I tend to get flustered and ramble-y when I talk to people.
Merlin fic I recently read & loved: I haven't read a lot recently, caught up in writing, but I've loved Bohemia's "Crown and Consort."
Merlin fanart I recently viewed & loved: http://onethousandwinters.tumblr.com/post/44291701343#_=_
Merlin comms that are improving my life: [livejournal.com profile] merlinxarthur, [livejournal.com profile] mxa_news, [livejournal.com profile] paperlegends.
Three Merlin LJ friends I recently made: Made a lot at [livejournal.com profile] asya_ana's friending meme.
Last Merlin LJ post I wrote: I guess when I posted my [livejournal.com profile] merlinreversebb story, "Death Cannot Stop True Love."
Latest cast news that had me flailing: Bradley's French interview talking about loving Colin and how his and Colin's relaionship mirrored Merlin and Arthur's.
My feelings about Colin Morgan performing in the Tempest: I have to admit more than a little jealous about those who'll get to see him in it. I definintely can't. I'm not a huge Shakespeare fan though so I'm still more looking forward to "Quirke."
Here's a gif: Don't really collect a lot of gifs. Sorry. :)

Day 23 - Most annoying character

Andrea from The Walking Dead. I liked her well enough during the first season and she had her moments during the second season. But that was the season that I really started to dislike her. I hated her ridiculous anger at Dale for having the audacity to not want her to kill herself and when she took it upon herself to get involved in whether Beth killed herself, I wanted to throttle her. That feeling has just increased this season. Every time I think she can't sink further in my estimation she manages to outdo herself. I can't really blame her for choosing to stick around in Woodsbury. I know that if I were living during a zombie apocalypse I'd much rather live in a community with access to showers and food, then hoofing it all over with a woman that communicates in grunts. But still, she kind of showed herself to be a horrible friend and her willfull blindness when it comes to Phillip is maddening. And she comes across as so smug. I think we're supposed to like that she wants to make peace between Rick's group and the Woodsbury gang, but I just see it as her having an exaggerated sense of her own importance.
