I thought of you when I read the news about Isaac not coming back. :/ Sorry to hear that you lost your favorite.
The funny (not "ha ha" funny, but ironic) thing is that I skipped through the finale yesterday morning and I thought, "ooooh, that new fatherly bonding Chris and Isaac is doing is nice, I might have a look at S4 just for that". And then a few hours later I read the article that, nope, that wasn't gonna happen.
I'm seriously glad that Daniel asked not to be killed off and, even if he doesn't actively return to the show, we can imagine him being happy somewhere else. On the other hand, short of Derek and Chris and maybe a McCall family reunion, I lost any and all incentive to get back into the show. Everyone else I loved is either dead (Allison, Erica, and damn I somehow ended up caring about Aiden, so of course he was the one who died) or absent (Isaac, Deucalion, Cora, Jackson), taking most of my ships with them, and instead we get Malia aka the most unrealistic written character on this show (which is saying a lot, considering that it's a show about teen werewolves) and a bunch of newbies and a Stiles/Lydia/Malia love triangle.
