I love watching "Merlin" with my boyfriend, Michael. We were watching season 4 episodes 5-7. "The Servant With Two Masters" is my favorite of season 4, and might possibly be my favorite "Merlin" episode ever and I was glad when he laughed at some of my favorite parts like when Merlin insults Gaius when he's trying to help. "Sometimes two heads are better than one." "Yes, but not when one of them's yours." And he laughed for a good minute after Merlin got the crossbow and Leon asked if Arthur was getting on his nerves. "Not for much longer!" When Gaius kept talking about removing that thing from behind Merlin's neck, and how when you kill it, another one just grows back in it's place. Michael, ever the pragmatic, said "Then why don't they just not kill it?" He suggested they just remove it and stick it in a jar. He said that a couple of times. By the time Merlin changed into Dragoon again he said, "I think Merlin just looks for any excuse to turn into the old man." I laughed a lot at that.

Like I said ep 6 is one of my favorites but I haven't watched the fight between Old!Merlin and Morgana in awhile. I liked it the first time I saw it, but when I was watching it this time I noticed how repetitious the figt was with Morgana and Merlin constantly throwing each other around. When Merlin threw Morgana the last time Michael wondered why Merlin didn't just kill Morgana. He was like if Merlin can conjure fire why doesn't he just kill her instead of throwing her around. He already doesn't like Morgana and got tired of her evilness pretty early in season 3.

When we were watching "The Secret Sharer" all of a sudden he asked "Does that horse have a perm?" I LMAO and just assumed he was being silly or seeing things. I have to admit I don't really pay attention to the horses on the show for the most part. There have been times people have mentioned that Arthur or Merlin will start riding one horse and then are riding a completely different horse in the next scene; I've never noticed. I thought it impossible for a horse to have a perm. But I decided to rewind the scene to humor him, and when I finally got a brief glimpse of the horse I started to giggle because the hair did indeed look curly. And then the horse was brought out of the stable, I died laughing when the horse's mane was indeed super curly and very perm-like. Mike joked "Guess their hair care products were pretty advanced back then." Love him!
